About the Role:
Join RESTORE ABA & SPEECH THERAPY LLC as an Occupational Therapist, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families in Humble, TX. We are dedicated to providing high-quality therapy services that empower our clients to achieve their goals and enhance their daily living skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve clients' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and effective communication.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet clients' evolving needs.
- Educate families on strategies to support their child's development at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the community and support services.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Texas state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a therapeutic setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
- Knowledge of current best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
